Amegilla viridicingulata is often a distinctive species with orange-brown scutal pubescence, tergal hair bands with green iridescence and orange hair on the hind legs in each sexes. Females have a hind tibial scopa with no a dark streak and T5 using a broad region of scattered white hair above the fimbria (Fig. 36). Males have pale hair across the sterna, specifically S3, four and a distinctive S7 (Fig. 49). Description.
